Key Responsibilities Territory & Market Development
• Map the total outlet universe by channel (General Trade, Convenience, Pharmacy, HORECA, Institutional, Local/Franchise, Quick Commerce dark stores).
• Prioritize high-velocity micro-markets (transport hubs, colleges, offices, industrial clusters) for Singles placements.
• Build and maintain a beat plan that covers 100% of target outlets at defined frequencies. Also, align & monitor performance of SA1 / SA2 as per defined criteria.
Distributor & Supply Network Management
• Appoint/upgrade one primary distributor per micro-territory with clear ROI, credit norms, and service KPIs.
• Ensure DMS hygiene (purchase, sales, claims) and zero stock-outs for Singles at distributor & retail.
• Drive van coverage/foot soldier productivity with clear per-beat call targets.
Sales Execution & Coverage
• Achieve daily productive calls; land must-carry Singles SKUs in every relevant outlet.
• Implement perfect order: distribution + planogram + price compliance + promo execution in one visit.
• Convert non-buyers4 trial4 repeat with micro-promos and retailer incentives tied to Singles.
Merchandising & Visibility
• Secure prime shelf/desk/counter space for Singles (impulse zones near cash till & tea counters).
• Deploy POSM (danglers, trays, clip strips) and maintain on-shelf availability (OSA).
• Execute local activations (sampling at high-traffic nodes) with measurable uplift.
Planning, Forecasting & Inventory
• Build SKU-wise rolling forecasts; keep norm stocks at distributor and days-of-cover at retail.
• Minimize near-expiry & damages; close claims fast and accurately.
Data, Reporting & Insights
• Use SFA/DMS to report calls, orders, distribution, and competition intelligence daily.
• Produce weekly insights: top gaps by beat, outlet type, and SKU; propose corrective actions.
Compliance & Relationships
• Enforce pricing/MOP discipline and company policies.
• Strengthen retailer relationships; resolve service issues within 48 hours.
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
• Achievement of sales targets (primary & secondary).
• Numeric and weighted distribution growth.
• Market share improvement in the assigned area.
• Team productivity and attrition control.
• Execution of trade marketing activities as per plan.
