• Work with customers to assess and educate them on their eyewear needs
• Engage and create unique, personalized experiences with each customer and keep eye on detailing while taking orders
• Inspect glasses, take optical measurements and solve queries with help of Optom
• Promote and exemplify an energetic yet professional environment keeping customers’ interest as primary focus
• Keep up to date on current fashion and eyewear trends. Take and use technical and human trainings
• Work as per standards which include identifying customers’ needs/lifestyle selling, offering current promotions, multiple pair offerings, obtaining prescription, use of the lens selling kit, offering our Price as per policy, negotiating and providing guarantee / warranty, etc
• Inspect finished eyeglasses using the Lensometer to conform to Company’s Quality
• Check and provide a thorough dispense to ensure proper fit. If needed take technician’s help to adjust and repair customer eyewear
• Stock / Replenish merchandise on counters, clean and straighten displays and entire store
• Be active team player and lead juniors in quick closure of sales
• Support in ensuring safety of goods and report for defective, spoiled and cannibalized frames
• Check if Data Entry Operator enters the order correctly – check customer has been entered with existing id if it’s a repeat client; mobile number, email id, Frame details, Lens details and Rx. Advise Operator to correct data if there is a mistake.
• Check total, advance, balance amounts and rectify if there is a mistake, inform customer in case of difference
• Check all bills made for orders delivered by them and for orders originally taken by them. Check amount, mode of payment – cash, card, cheque, debit, receipts, pending payments. Follow up on pending payments.
• Check if the Lenses have been ordered by Back Office, received in time for fitting as per delivery schedule and delivered on time to customers
• Inform customer for delivery and at any stage if there is a delay, inform customer and follow up with back office, store manager, managing partner for timely supply of product
• Replenish & Arrange Merchandise mix on counter and on-self (to maintain freshness of goods in store). Assist in setting up banners on façade and instore promotions
• In the case of complaint & grievance from customer end, take follow up call with customer about their happiness / satisfaction
• Support Store manager in his admin / operational work. Take follow-up with client who have bought on credit and ensure timely collection
• Store Cleanliness - To ensure that the all areas of the Store, Frame Displays, Frames and Sunglasses are clean, dust free and tidy
